Welcome to the
Southeast Florida Cancer Control Collaborative
The Southeast Florida Cancer Control Collaborative (SFCCC) is a voluntary organization that includes people from local health care providers, community-based organizations, advocacy groups and others interested in networking and working together to improve cancer control services in southeast Florida. The region includes Broward, Indian River, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie Counties.
Mission statement
The SFCCC is dedicated to improve access to cancer care and to decrease the burden of cancer through a united effort by the promotion of education, advocacy, and research for the people of Southeast Florida.
What does the SFCCC do?
The SFCCC serves as a networking organization for people who provide services for our region. We have quarterly meetings which rotate between Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, hosted by member organizations. We also sponsor professional and community educational events.
Activities are planned by workgroups (see About SFCCC) which are aligned with the goals of the Florida Cancer Plan (see Cancer Control in Florida).
For more information, email SFCCC.
SFCCC MEETINGS
The next quarterly meeting will be June 14, 2012. See Meetings page for more information and minutes from past meetings.
